# of follicles??!

Question

I am on day 6 of stims and went in for my ultrasound. Doctor was able to see 7 follicles. She said this is average, but in my mind this sounds like a low number.  Any input would he appreciated!!
Also one follicle was much bigger than the others, so I have started Cetrocide.  Will possibly increase doses of menopur and gonal tonight to help the other follicles catch up!

Don’t worry at all, I only had 7 follicles retrieved and 6 made it to day 5 for freezing. I’ve seen people with 15 collected and none make it to freeze so numbers mean nothing. Fingers crossed for you xx

Woohoo!!! Things are happening! Don’t even worry about the first appointment; you’re going to be amazed at the rapid growth in numbers and sizes of follicles in the next few days!

That's just the beginning. I had about 4 on my first visit. Eventually that became 13 on one side and 16 on the other!
