C-section Scheduling Drama

So since I’m small I have to have a c-section, I had scheduled for April 10th I will be 39 weeks, when I told my mom she said se got her flight ticket for the 14th and it’s non-refundable. When they called to confirm I explained my dilemma and asked if it can be switched to any date after the 14th, well the scheduling lady was aggravated and seemed frustrated which I understand she had set up everything, but I live far away from family and I need someone to take care of my 2 yr old, while my husband and Ia re in surgery room. She just made me feel like I was being a difficult patient is this normal?? Am I in the wrong, I honestly just wanted to cancel everything and tell them we’ll just wait till she wants to come out, that’s what I did with my first child...
