Yeast infection??

I've had slight white discharge for about 3 weeks now. Whenever I have sex it's on my SO penis. No smell, no itching, just a thickish white discharge. I treated myself with monostat 1 day... how long should I wait to have sex.... I was hoping friday night, is that too soon? Any ideas what else it could be if it isnt a yeast infection? I just started the pill so maybe it has me all messed up? i don't know, any advice would be appreciated.
