Yeast infection, early sign of pregnancy?

Hello ladies! Has anyone ever had a yeast infection before their BFP? I never get yeast infections, ever. It started Sunday as just irritation and itchiness, now it is Wednesday and it’s still very so irritated. Also, cottage cheese type of discharge. I’m due for my period in 6 days, on the 27th. Again, I never ever get yeast infections. I haven’t tested at all and I wasn’t planning. I’ve read though that yeast infections could be an early sign of pregnancy. Anyone ever experienced it and were pregnant?
