So today I am 20 weeks and 5 days pregnant, I recently chose to have the checks for abnormalities but I wouldnt be telling the truth if I said I wasnt guttered for the outcome we had today. My BEAUTIFUL baby has been comfirmed to have spina bifida, fluid on the brain and also club foot. I know the baby wont be loved any less and that he is loves by me and my family and his daddy but it has been hard to focus on the news. I new I would love the baby no matter what and I knew even more when they offered a termination of the pregnancy which I immediately said NO. This baby is a gift and also a blessing and if he needs more love and support well then ill be there to give him extra hugs, kisses and support he needs in life.
