I had a laproscopic tubal ligation Monday. I haven’t taken any pain meds today because I was worried about becoming constipated. Ive walked around since the surgery and even have returned to work. I work in an office so I’m not involved in lots of activity but I do get up to move around still.

I’ve had urine and made bowel movements and finally released sum painful gas....but it still hurts. Im bloated and have a general uncomfortable feeling in my guts which seem to radiate to my anus. Ive taken gas x and it helped a little. But not enough. How long can I expect this discomfort? I go Monday to have the stitches taken out and will ask but in the meantime I need to know. I called the doctor and they are the ones who suggested gas x.

Can’t wait to get home from work, eat and take a Norco.

I hope it’s just gas 🙁
