So me and my boyfriend have been friends since the 5th grade we started dating our freshman year now we are sophomores do you think we are ready to be sexual or should we wait . We talk about always waiting for Marriage then we could do sex but is it wrong to do it now we plan to getting married 😍💋 we are both plan on getting married his family loves me and mine loves him but both are parents aren’t ready for grandchildren what should I do ?

Sex does not ALWAYS lead to babies. Just use proper protection as condoms and birth control. Talk to your partner about these things and possibly your mother as well, she may have advice. Mine was always very open with me and it helped a lot.

If you feel ready have a talk and wear protection. I lost mine around the same age but you MUST be mature...maybe talk to a trusted gaurdian abt it too. Have them buy condoms if he doesn't have already

I am 19 almost 20, lost it 3 years ago when I was 17. I'm pregnant right now. I'm almost 19 weeks. trust me. I have a tipped uterus, I was on birth control and I still got pregnant. I'm lucky that we already had a very strong relationship, our families love us, and he's 13 years older than me. trust me. sex. leads to babies. and babies lead to heart break, pain, and growing up way faster than you need to. if you're gonna do it. condoms suck, but use them. be on birth control at least 7 days before you do anything, and if its the birth control pill take them every single day. if you miss a day, then dont have sex. seriously. babies are at least an 18 year commitment to the person you're having them with. if I were you I would wait. there's other stuff to do besides full on sex. make sure he's clean too. and yes always get checked for STDs. the man I married gave me one. we both had no idea we had it, but I went to  my annual checkup and did a full screen. he's a very clean person and so am I. everything you learned in sex Ed is real. dont take it for granted, wait until you're not a teenager to have babies. this shit is hard. use protection and get checked.

if you have to ask, the answer is no. you're so young, and there's really no rush to grow up. just take your time and enjoy being together. love that young is always so sweet, and I personally don't think it should be complicated with sex
