who has used ovidrel?

Hi everyone! I am having my first IUI Saturday ( unless I surge tonight then its tomorrow) I am not a fan of needles and may have to take the Ovidrel tomorrow. I am so nervous to give myself a shot, I'm nervous I won't be able to do it :( anyone else have this problem?? I feel like such a baby lol

It’s the teeniest tiniest little baby needle. You’ll be fine. Over in 3 seconds or less.

all I could think of was my baby....i pinched my skin closed my eyes and it didn't hurt at all! pregnant 2 weeks later!!!! first round of ovidrel after years of ttc

If you pinch the injection site while doing it helps alot.

It was so easy. I had to take it b/c my body doesn’t produce enough LH every month. Had the IUI 36 hours later. We find out April 2 in it worked.

I did it early this morning I was worried for nothing like you ladies said lol. thanks for the encouragement.took me a fee minutes to actually stick myself but I didn't Feel It at all. I'm proud of myself I did it lol. have any of you gotten sick after taking it? I took it at 5am when my boyfriend went to work so he was there with me. went back to sleep and I woke up feeling sick and threw up. hopefully it goes away. thank you again

I pinch the injection site and then let go once I start to push the injection in. You can ice it a little before hand! I’m terrified of needles and the shot really isn’t bad, especially if you pinch the fat

I have a needle thing.   Can’t do it.   Husband did.    I will say it’s tiny and I didn’t feel it but I just couldn’t psych myself up to do it.
