Hey gals, so about two months ago I was diagnosed with a 5cm cyst on my right ovary. I do not have PCOS just one cyst that has been hanging out on my ovary. My periods have stayed regular, but this month I was 3 days late. My boyfriend and I are very open about children so we don’t use protection and feel that if it happens then it happens. Monday night the 19th of March I had a sharp pinching pain on my right side that lasted about 30 min and I took a 200mg Advil and the pain was gone. The 19th was when i was originally supposed to ovulate and I thought that the reason why my period was late was due to a change in my diet ( I switched to low carb) my boyfriend and I had sex Thursday, Friday and Sunday and if I ovulated early there’s a chance I could be pregnant right?? I read online that cysts can make periods irregular and I’ve been having milky discharge lately. What do you ladies think? Do you think it was ovulation pain or a cyst related pain?
