perforated IUD

I have had the Mirena IUD for a year now, and haven't had any trouble. Last night, my boyfriend rested himself on his elbow on my abdomen, and I felt a pop. At first I thought it was probably gas. No big deal. but soon after I had a horrid pain where I felt the pop. Again, I brushed it off as gas or maybe I just needed to use the bathroom, but I went to the bathroom, which didn't help, and I couldn't sleep because of the pain. Today, the pain is much worse and I am extremely nauseous. The pain is in the lower left of my abdomen. I have heard some horror stories about IUDs and I just want to see what you ladies think, and if you have had a perforated IUD, what were your symptoms? What should I be looking for to rule it out?
