So back story last weekend I was having some cramps and had lost some of my mucus plug so I called the maternity hospital. They said that bc it was bloody or painful cramps that it shouldn’t be of concern. Tuesday evening I go back to my gp as I’ve been fighting a sinus infection and felt like they weren’t working. He was a little surprised the hospital didn’t have me come in and suggested that bc of the coughing I should go in in the morning just to get a checkup.

Next morning I go totally extending on coming home later that day and well now I’m stuck in maternity prison until sometime next week. They can’t even tell me when they may send me home. The worst part is being told everything is looking good since the original tests that put me in here and that it looked like I would be able to go home for them to tell me I’m stuck another night... now bc they don’t discharge on weekends I’m stuck here until next week. I’m going absolutely insane here and just need some support.

My husband is amazing but he’s a little overwhelmed by it all and feels helpless but at least we can see that this is the best place for me and our son to bc god forbid I go into early labor.
