Is 6 weeks to early to announce?

Hey ladies, 
I know 6 weeks is really early but I will be 6 weeks on Easter and thought it would so cute to announce with our families. Bad thing is we won’t get to have an ultrasound until 8-9 weeks along. Would u guys announce since it’s a holiday and family will be together? Or should we wait??

I am. And I mc in Jan. but I had my first us and saw the hb and got pics I'll be 7 almost 8w. my theory js something could go bad at any time. 6 or 36 weeks. so I'm going to celebrate

We are planning on telling our close family on Easter. I’ll be 6 weeks as well! I just don’t think I can wait to tell our parents and siblings. Plus if something were to happen, then we would both need their emotional support.

I would wait but only because my first pregnancy ended in a mc at 6-7 weeks and we told our parents and a couple close friends when I was around 4. I found it hard when the conversation of miscarrying came up because I felt as though people felt bad for me and I HATE that. This time I’m waiting at least 13 weeks I’m only 4w3d atm.

It's entirely up to you. We told our parents, my sister and her bf at 4w6d, the grandparents know (only because they were with my parents on mother's day when we told them). My best friend knows because she is due in june and kept asking if we were yet and i couldn't lie. My boss knows in case i am ill etc. We will tell aunts n cousins when we get together on Easter Monday and I will be exactly 7weeks. I had a mc 4yrs ago with my ex and it was so hard telling people that didn't even know i was expecting. My husband and i are determined to enjoy this pregnancy and keeping it a secret is too hard lol the rest of the world can wait until the scan.

I’m 5 weeks and have already told our parents, grandparents, & siblings. Our first ultrasound is April 12. We will be telling close friends after that. I couldn’t help it I want everybody to know. #SoExcited

Personally, I'd wait until at least your first scan. We only tell VERY close friends and family right away and then the rest around 12 weeks.

I am planning to announce on Easter. I will be 8 weeks by then, but my first Ob appointment is not until almost 10 weeks. This is our only chance to see the grandparents within the next 6 weeks and I would rather tell them in person. It was a hard decision, hopefully it goes well!

We are publicly announcing on fb and everything on easter at 8 weeks bc we already told all of our close friends and family.  by Easter we will have had 3 scans and blood work. we already heard the heartbeat and all of that stuff, too so. I would try to see if you could get in for an early scan before you announce. Just to make sure everything is progressing the way it should be. Best of luck to you.
