I just need a quick vent read and give me your opinion

So since January I been talking to this guy and he’s OK looking i have known him for 5 years never talked but we have the same friends and he isn’t the cutest he has a baby momma who isn’t with him she’s dating his old friend (shady i know!!) he has a son who he is only allowed to see once in a while because him and her have issues in co parenting but I gave him my time of day. He use to always message me and I would ignore him so I decided to see what his deal was..anyways fast forward we start texting and it’s cool he’s sweet he doesn’t ask for nudes and he doesn’t talk about sex usually guys just talk about those two things..a month or less later we talk more often and I end up liking him a little and we begin flirting (which I started first) than we end up hanging out and we had sex it wasn’t the best but when we kiss I have the most fun kissing him and than he never text me after that he would ignore me than I got over it whatever and two weeks maybe 3 weeks he texts again and sweet talks me I go with it again and I chill with him again this time we have sex and talk a little and again he ignores me so I’m like whatever..than he hits me up randomly and wants to hangout and we hang out but this time we mostly just talked didn’t do much just kissed a little and he started texting me more and more just asking how my day was and in total we have sex like 7 times and when he didn’t have anything to eat I bought him some food and snacks and gave him some money to help him out and i know I am dumb but i felt bad and I didn’t do it for him to like me I did it to do a good thing for a friend i would of done it for anybody. Now he’s back to ignoring me and I’m ok with it I just don’t think I’m gonna message him back this time he comes around because I’m tired of putting effort into our friendship and get nothing back..when we kiss it’s amazing but there’s more fish in the sea
