He’s here
He’s here!
I’m a little late on posting but here it is...
Silas Tate was born on February 24th 2018, my mother and I went into the hospital on February 23rd because I was having light contractions at 38 weeks and 5 days. They ended up admitting me due to high blood pressure and got the labor process moving right away! I ended up getting an epidural because they said my blood pressure would continue to get higher and higher if I was feeling the pain. He was born at 3:10am, February 24th, weighing 8 pounds 5 oz. 20 and a quarter inch’s long and the most perfect little man I’d ever seen! 😍
After moving me to the 7th floor of the hospital in mother baby, I had them bring him to the nurcery so I could get some rest. When I woke up one of the nurses from the NICU came into my room to tell me my baby was in the NICU, that he was having a hard time breathing on his own. That was the hardest part. My perfect baby, struggling and there was nothing I could do. His breathing got better and better everyday, he got treated for jaundice and everything looked good! A week later we were able to take my baby boy home! I can’t even describe my love for my little man. He’s the best thing I could have ever imagined. It’s hard to believe my baby boy is already a month old! I can’t wait to see what a great little boy my Silas Tate turns out to be!
