Names to similar? So my name is Brittney and boyfriends is Brett. He really want to go with the name Brennon for our boy since it’s similar to our names and I like it too. Only problem is I have 3 nephews who are named Braden, Bryce, and Blayne.

As for being too similar to your other family members- I wouldn’t worry too much about this.

I don't think the similarity to the cousins is too much. But I do think you should consider how many kids you guys want. It might be hard to keep thinking of matchy names you like, to prevent the next keep from feeling left out.

It cut me off, but I really do love the name and I’m due in 2 month and can not come up with any other name after searching and searching. I asked my sister (the boys mom) if she thought it was to close and she seemed to like the name and liked that it was close to her boys. I’m not sure if she just wanted to be supportive or if she really did like it lol but my Mom (who is SUPER opinionated about my name choice) doesn’t like it 😞 so I’m just confused.
