Does anyone else have Binge Eating Disorder?

I was diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder about a year ago. I've been treating it with a rx appetite suppressant but I had to stop taking it since I'm TTC. I'm struggling a bit with controlling my appetite and losing weight. I'm just wondering if there's anyone else that knows what I'm going through.

I struggled with this quite a bit. I went to counseling and I got some help with controlling my urges to binge. I binged when I was underweight, trying to stay perfect. Since then, I have gained weight. I am now working on a healthy way to get it off.  it's really hard because anytime I deprive myself of anything I have an urge to binge. It is not as bad as it was before but it is still there.  my suggestion is talk to your family about this and seek their help and support. I made the mistake of attempting to hide my binge eating from everyone. There was really no hiding it though.   I know this doesn't give a lot of suggestions, but I understand what you are going through and you are not alone.  sending my love your way!

I starting talking to my doctor about BED almost a year and was prescribed Vyvanse. I'm am TTC and my doctor said it was fine to keep taking it up until finding out I'm pregnant. I started out on the lowest dose and I felt like it wasn't helping after a few weeks - I stopped taking it, started again, then stopped again. I didn't bother talking to my doctor at that point because I was starting my first IVF cycle and would've had to stop if I became pregnant anyway. After that cycle failed, I saw my doctor and we discussed starting again, but also increasing the dosage over the first couple of weeks - Seemed to be more effective and I'm still taking the 70mg dose, but I've been super stressed at work and I'm starting another IVF cycle, so I don't know that I'm feeling the whole benefit lately... All I want to do is eat junk and I'm still binging when I get home in the evenings :-/
