Could AMH testing be useless?

St

Since our repeat AMH test demonstrated a 400% increase in my hormone level of AMH, perhaps this test doesn't really tell you anything at all. It appears to render inconclusive evidence or insight to a woman's ovarian reserve. Do we know if preparing the assay one way versus another disrupts an accurate reading or is it that our hormones really do change or are influenced by other factors, fluctuating month to month? Being that this is so new and not well understood by medical professionals at this time I would hesitate to draw any conclusions when getting your lab results of AMH. Repeat test if you must, but try not to feel dispair or hopelessness as I too often see on these forums. Stay vigilant!
