Any other twin moms with PCOS?

Question

So I have PCOS and having twins so doctor went over my double risk factor for developing gestational diabetes. I am a little worried now and hope I don’t get that! Also hoping for a smooth pregnancy, so far it’s been great. 16 weeks Monday. Anyone else in the twin/PCOS boat?

had pcos all my life, still have it. had my twins in july 2016. been on metformin until they found my liver enzymes were elevated. not during pregnancy though. failed gd 1 but passed gd 2.

I have PCOS and I’m currently 34 weeks with mono/di twin boys. I was told the same about all the risk and how it was higher with twins. I thankfully haven’t had any gestational diabetes or preeclampsia. I only had low iron levels and needed iron infusions. I think if you have a great diet and try to stay as active as you can, you should be ok. Just take care of yourself! It’s totally possible to have a healthy pregnancy, and I come from a family where everyone has diabetes!

I have really bad PCOS (they are going to remove my ovaries because they are so enlarged) and I had twins. I did have GD with them but I was able to keep it under control with just diet. I was taking metformin to begin with but I had to stop because I couldn’t swallow pills when o was pregnant. 
I actually had a really hard time gaining weight my entire pregnancy and when I switched to a diabetic diet I lost a ton more weight lol. My twins came out at 36 weeks at 5.4lbs and 5lbs and my daughter had some slight sugar issues (they kept dropping) that normalized after a few days.

I have PCOS and tomorrow I’ll be 25wks. I’ve been on Metformin since way before I was pregnant, my doctors had kept me on it this whole time. I did an early 1 hour glucose test and failed by 2 points, then I did a 3 hour and passed with flying colors. I’m still on the Metformin but I’m doing another glucose test in a couple weeks. We shall see what happens. But so far my pregnancy has been amazing minus this last week, I’ve been have public Symphysis issues 🙈. Start wearing an abdominal band early and if you start getting groin pain REST REST REST!

I was a PCO'er with a dominant symptom of insulin resistance. I was on metformin throughout my pregnancy (instead of stopping it at 12 weeks as is typical) and never developed GD.

I just had my twins and I have PCOS. I did not develop gestational diabetes or have any complications related to PCOS. My girls came out healthy, so other than the difficulty when we were trying to conceive, PCOS had no effects on my pregnancy.

I hace PCOS and had a healthy pregnancy. I had them at 34w but it was not related to PCOS.
They are super healthy!
