yeast or bladder infection?

my symptoms of a yeast infection and a bladder infection always start out similar. that “something doesn’t feel right” down there feeling & it physically hurts. i have monistat. would it hurt to use it if i don’t for sure know if it’s a yeast infection?

Usually a yeast infection is an extreme vaginal itching that is very persistent along with irritation inside. You can have a funky smelling, white thick discharge from it. 
A urinary tract infection is often associated with painful and frequent urination and sometimes you can get cramps from it. It’s even more concerning if you have back pain which could mean kidney infection.

please dont use it I used it and it was burning and itching inside the vagina where I couldn't reach and ended up in the E.R. shortly after, IT WAS HORRIBLE AND  the doc told me alot of women start itching and burning after using that. Please dont.

Yes, Monistat should help if it’s a yeast infection. 
My UTI symptoms & yeast infection symptoms are a lot alike too, but I think the difference is that a yeast infection is more noticeable to you, and your partner (if you’re in a serious and committed relationship). UTI causes more problems while peeing; whereas, a yeast infection may do that, but it’ll also keep you itching a lot down there. 
If you think it’s just a UTI, it won’t hurt anything to use Monistat, but maybe cranberry juice will help that..?
