Anyone else going to be alone with a toddler and newborn ??

Question

My husband is going to be gone and I have no family help.. I am 38.3 weeks today. He's leaving in about a week to work and probably won't be home for the birth of our child.
What are some things you guys are doing to keep sanity when alone with a newborn and toddler ? Sleep? Cleaning? Feeding yourself and kids? 
Need some tips :)

My husband works for a power plant so he has to go to work he can only like like 3 days off. including when we'll be in the hospital. when we get home I'll have one day with help from him then it will be myself a newborn an 18month old and my 4 year old. My dad did say he would take my 4 year old to school and pick her up lol but that's it. we can do this !!!! I just keep telling my self that

I am.  I have a 13 month old and due 4-12-18.   father of the 2 kicked us out on new years freezing cold at 10 pm.  hell wouldnt even let me have my shoes or coat because he bought them. had no where to go because I was not allowed to have a job to have any money.  doing better now had to move in at my mothers.  but yep a single mom of a 17 yr old 13 month old and a new one on the way.

I too will be alone, but with 5 kids, 3 of which will be 3 and under. When I had my last LO I had to wear her to get anything done. I always make time to clean as I have OCD. I’ll be making a Costco trip soon for frozen, ready made meals for us to last at least a month because I’ve found cooking with a newborn and toddlers is a no go since wearing and flames don’t mix, lol.

I’ll be in a similar boat. My husband will be gone pretty much all of May, June, and July (possibly August and September). This happened with my first too.
Here’s what helped me. I adjusted my expectations and primarily focused on enduring (since I knew I would not be getting a break). We went on lots of walks to get out of the house. Took lots of naps. I also relied on the communities (work friends, religion friends, etc.) to call on if I desperately needed help. Luckily that wasn’t too often. 
It’s not fun and I’m so sorry you have to be alone for the beginning. You can do it. If you ever feel too alone or that you might break, message me. I would love to help you any way I can, even if it’s just to listen to you vent. Sometimes it helps having someone to listen and talk to who’s been in a similar situation as you.
