What is this?!

My daughter woke up with this Saturday, Friday for an afternoon snack I gave her raisins for the first time. The next morning she had this. Today it looks a bit better but I’m still iffy about just taking her to urgent care for a second option. My sisters say this is hives, what do you think? It’s not all over her body it’s only on her front torso.

No offense to the person who said it can’t be an allergic reaction, but that is 100% false. Maybe don’t spread blatantly wrong information around. It CAN be an allergic reaction. First-time exposure reactions are generally mild while subsequent reactions get worse.

Looks like roseola, a rash a child gets after having a fever!! All my kids have had this!!

What you said is true ONCE they have been exposed to it.. like me. I am allergic to shellfish. However, the first time after I had my first reaction (which was mild- I got red and hives) my reactions following got worse and eventually I was required to carry an epi-pen. 
Your rudeness was not necessary. I went to school for this mess and have terrible allergies myself.

It looks like hives. My son had a reaction like this to a food he was allergic to. It wasn’t raised, it almost looked like it was underneath the skin, but it ended up being a more severe reaction the next time he ate it (I didn’t realize he was allergic until after the second reaction) with raised hives the second time. 
Also, it could be a reaction to a laundry detergent or soap if you’ve changed recently. Think anything you guys have done differently.

My daughter actually got a rash like this for a week or two, her doctors said it was just a virus rash. I had never seen a virus take form like that but it didn't actually bother her too much, we were given a dose for benadryl when it did bother her and it helped.

My daughter has eczema and sometimes when she tries a new food it can cause an outbreak but it’s more splotchy but right before or right after she gets sick her eczema looks exactly like that. Call the pediatrician and ask how much Benadryl he can take and see if that clears it up also you can use hydrocortisone cream to see if its eczema

My son used to do that if the flame retardant on new clothes didn't get totally washed out. Not saying that's what it is could be a lot of things, but that's just about how bad it got every time it happened. It's even happened when he was at grandma and grandpa's and had a clean onsie on under a new shirt that hadn't been washed from the store. If it's an outfit that's been worn a few times though that's probably not it. Either way the Johnson and Johnson oatmeal bath or a little baking soda in bath water usually helps with anything like that on my little guy. Hope it goes away soon not fun.
