I think my boyfriend is a dom, but I don't know how to be sub. it's not sexual (yet) but I really want to make him feel like he really is the dominant one. any suggestions?

Apparently a lot of people are asking questions about D/s outside of the bedroom. Ask him for sure! Ask how you can make his life better/easier. Thats the best way to do it especially if he has specific ideas already. Ask him if hed maybe like any of these things. Only do these things if it gives both of you happiness.
I just responded to a couple of similar questions so here are a few ideas...
you can do so many things
make sure that his drink at the dinner table is constantly full. keeping laundry clean. meal plan. running errands. sorting out the bills or ...mail etc? backrubs. keeping a journal of whatever you want that he gets to look through when he wants (unless of course you don't consent). Making the bed daily. Making him coffee/other drink in the morning promptly at a specific time. 
I'm in a ldr and here are some of our non sexual things we do:
-Im in charge of reminding him of his daily tasks. 
-he reminds me to stand tall, because I slouch. 
-I also remind him to say "I am a good man" because I think he needs to hear it.
-he doesn't like when I apologize (because I do it too much), so you could have rules about words or phrases you're not allowed to say
-I write lists for him and send them so he doesn't have to write them
-He gives me reassurance or love immediately when I ask for it

Breaking and/or making habits

I had this issue with my boyfriend when we first started getting a little intimate. 
It took a lot of communication and experimenting to see what he enjoyed doing to me that I could handle being done 😂
