When to make 1st md apt?

Hey, I found out yesterday I am pregnant and due December 3rd! When is the best time to make 1st md apt? ASAP? Or 8-12 weeks? I know there’s not much they do before the 12 week mark.

Just call, every Dr is different. In face for all of my pregnancies with the same dr it's changed over the years. Currently they do a sono at 8 weeks then see the nurse same day and then the dr @ 10-12 weeks.

I found out Thursday and called. My OB office does not see patients until 8 weeks so our first appointment is April 23rd! It won't hurt to call today, they can always schedule an appointment in a couple of weeks if that's what their practice is.

Our first ultrasound and OB exam is scheduled for 6.5 weeks (April 12th). Like others suggested, call your doctor’s office and see what their standard protocol is.

Also due December 3! First appt is April 9 at six weeks. Only because we have lost a baby before
