Hi! I’m on Junel Fe birth control, which are combination pills and I have been on them since August. I’m good about taking my pills, never missed one but sometimes I am a couple hours late with taking then. I am sexually active with my boyfriend and we use a condom every time we have sex. We had sex two weeks ago and last Thursday. I told him we had to be careful having sex on Thursday since I was put on antibiotics (doxycycline hyclate) for a horrible sinus infection. I started my placebo week pills yesterday and since then I’ve been having bad cramps, a horrible headache like in the back of my head, peeing frequently, feeling like I’m going to start bleeding any second but nothing is there!!, bloating etc. My breasts aren’t tender nor have I had any motion sickness. I have never had bad cramps, headache, bloating and the other symptoms while on birth control so I’m very confused. Is this normal? Should I be concerned about pregnancy/would you be concerned about pregnancy in my situation? Hopefully my period comes this week like it is supposed to, if it doesn’t for whatever reason I should take a test?
