She’s finally here!! After 10 hours of labor (I was induced) she is here!! I ended having an emergency C-section. Every time I’d have a contraction her heart rate would decrease. After my water breaking at 3cm stained with meconium and 2 hours of monitoring, the doctor decided we needed to do a C-section for baby’s safety. Once baby was pulled out, we figured out why her heart rate kept dropping with contractions. She had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. But the second she was cleared of her amniotic fluid, I heard the most beautiful cry... and of course mama got emotional. She’s so perfect, and I’m so in love with this tiny human..
