How long was your first labor??

first labor was 48 hours start to end. it was super gradual though. Active labor lasted 3 hours, and I pushed for 30 mins. I did this all completely natural. It honestly didnt feel like 48 hours, felt like way less.I was so in a zone that time wasnt relevant to me loll I ate a lot at the very start of my labor when it wasnt bad at all. I swear it gave me all the energy I needed for the work ahead. I also drank coconut water to stay hydrated and also had cold pineapple juice (that honestly tasted like heaven in the moment) to boost energy.

Over 70 hours, because they tried to stop my labor with magnesium. Had it been a full term pregnancy, I’m sure it would have been over with within 24 hours.

1st kid: in labor for 2 days, pushed for 2.5 hours, had him naturally 
2nd kid: in labor 5 hours, pushed for 20 minutes, had an epidural

My water broke in my sleep and he was born 13 hours later! Slowly progressed to a 6 over 10 hours. And then the last 4 came quickly after getting my epidural.

I was induced on the Monday, was in active labour (3cm dilated) by the Wednesday, laboured from 8am - 5pm then got whisked off for an emergency c section. They estimated if I hadn't had the c section I would've been in labour for another 6 hours. So that makes a total 15 hours.

My daughter broke my water a week before my scheduled csection. My daughter was Frank Breech so my only option was a csection. Because I ate lunch, they made me wait for my stomach to clear before taking me to the OR. I wanted a spinal rather than an epidural (legs wake faster) so I had to wait to be in the OR for it. In the four hours I waited after my water broke, I went from random contractions to less than a minute apart. That’s when they rushed me back since I had refused all meds to wait for the spinal, gave me the meds, and my daughter was out 20 minutes later. They said if I had a vaginal delivery it would have been a few quick pushes and she would have been out.

I was induced due to high blood pressure, so that was a Monday and my son was born on Tuesday. I wasn’t dilated, my cervix weren’t thinned, the baby hadn’t even dropped. I would say I started active labor after my water broke (I was at a 2 cm) and it was only about 6 hours until I had the baby.

I was *technically* in labor for 11 days, but full-blown labor that resulted in giving birth was only 5 hours long.

I was in labor for 36 hours and then pushed for 2.5 more hours. They started talking about doing a cesarean and that have me the strength and extra motivation I needed to get my little girl out lol. Praying this labor/delivery/ recovery is easier
