Baby less gassy with bottle??

Question

My baby always screams and I think it’s because he has gas. He breastfeeds but I can NEVER get him to burp. 
This week my husband gave our son a bottle of breast milk and he was able to burp. He was much more pleasant...
Anyone experienced this? Less fussy baby when given a bottle??

Babies who are breastfeed don’t tend to need a burp or should I say... they don’t tend to burp that often. They aren’t sucking in air like they do with a bottle. It is still a good idea to try to burp them but don’t be shocked if they do not burp. 
Is a bottle fed baby better and easier to burp? Hmm yes. Sort of. Eating a bottle allows your baby to suck in air. Giving them something to burp up. Therefor makes things a bit easier but not always. Could also be a foremilk and hind milk In balance making your baby fussy. 
If your baby is eating from the breast they may not be getting the thick rich hind milk and just getting the foremilk which makes babies colicky/gassy. Now if you feed a bottle of breast milk you are feeding the entire breast. Meaning you pumped the entire breast empty getting all the thick rich milk mixed in with the watery milk. Giving a great balance. Which can help your baby as well. 
But being an exclusive pumper isn’t really a fun route. I breastfeed my first two boys with occasional bottles when I worked. My bird baby who is 2 weeks old right now isn’t able to get enough milk from my breast despite me having plenty to give. He isn’t strong enough to eat just from the breast so I have to offer a breast so he keeps getting used to eating from it but then I have to follow up with a bottle of pumped milk to make sure he is eating enough. So I have to pump every 2-3 hours on top of feeding him. From start to finish it takes me about 1.5 hours to nurse baby,feed baby bottle, burp baby, and pump. And if you remember the 2-3 hour timer starts the minute they start eating. So I only get about an hour of sleep/rest/alone time between feeding/pumping.

Lactation consultant and nurses at the hospital said breastfed babies don’t burp as much because they aren’t taking in as much air! My exclusively breastfed baby does not burp nearly as much as my little sister did who took a bottle

have you tried gas drops ? I can't get my 3 week old to burp after nursing either but almost always belches after a bottle. however, she gets fussy after breastfeeding and I will give her gas drops and gently bounce her until she lets out the cutest, tiniest burp.

Maybe he just got more out quickly so needed that burp? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had a hard time burping mine too. EBF for six months. He was pretty fussy if he wasn't on the boob.

I don’t have experience with bottle feeding, but I do with having a gassy baby who doesnt always burp lol
Breastfed babies don’t always get a lot of air when feeding so they won’t always have to burp. When my little guy has a great latch, he doesn’t burp after.
He did have a lot of gas pains and I tried simethicone gas drops, which worked okay. 
Have you noticed anything you eat that may be causing his gas pains? 
I had to cut our caffeine, onions and garlic. He hasn’t had gas pains since! Maybe by changing your diet it will help his gas pains
