36 weeks! Not dilated, but cervix is moderately soft? And baby girls head is sitting on my pelvic bone. The doc wanted to do an emergency ultrasound due to my belly measuring 2 weeks behind and I haven't gained anymore weight. I was alone and needless to say, freaking out LOL! I called my husband ready to cry. Long story short, baby is healthy and wonderful, she is just a smaller girl like her Momma! She has a head full of hair also! However, she has dropped into position. So I'm curious as to when or if I will start dilating? Also, what's the difference between effaced and softening? I feel like they are similar? Thanks ladies!
