Do you flush or throw out your tampons?

My man gets SOOOOO mad that I flush my tampons, he says "it's gonna clog the pipes eventually" but both my mother and I have been doing it for years and have had no problems.

The only reason he knows is because I was peeing while he was brushing his teeth (very open relationship) and he noticed I put nothing in the garbage but the wrapper and applicator and it started it all lmao. Everytime aunt flow visits he will ask me to toss it out and not flush it lol.

Don’t flush them. They’re not meant to be flushed. They can’t be processed by waste-water treatment facilities and they’re bad for your septic system. Also getting a bill for “excessive tampon removal” is a funny anecdote, but not as funny in reality.

there are tampon waste baggies, on Amazon called MASKIT , I flushed until I messed up pipes, and had plumber pull them all out of drain, yes way gross and embarrassing. He lectured me about flushing tampons. never again. expensive bill

I never flush my tampons... in middle school all the girls had to be lectured because thats show our bathrooms got clogged since girls were flushing them. Literally only thing a flush is toilet paper but growing up we were raised to not even flush that because sometimes it can mess up the pipes.

it doesnt matter if you and your mom havent clogged a toilet with them because the sewer system is more complex than your home toilet. you're contributing to a large problem in the waste water treatment system. you can only flush toilet paper because it breaks down. your tampons arent made to break down. shame on you. its nothing to brag about that you cant dispose of your tampons responsibly.
