colicky baby??

my son will be 6 weeks on wednesday, and for about a week now, he screams at the top of his lungs from 2 am to 6 or 7, when he finally goes to sleep.. the last two days, he's been doing it for hours during the day as well. ive tried everything google told me and im not sure what else to do to calm him down.. also for anyone who has had colicky babies, when did it finally go away? mama needs some sleep 😢

My third daughter was.  Cried all the time.  Didn't sleep more than 20 minutes at a time.  Finally at 10 weeks took her to a chiropractor.  She slept 6 hours that night.  I still rave about how amazing it was!  I'm currently pregnant with no 4, and I'm planning on taking him to the chiropractor right away!

is your child formula fed or breastfed? If formula fed you need to speak to the pediatrician because that sounds like the baby is having distress from the formula. If breastfed you need to cut out anything that could be aggravating the baby such as garlic, caffeine, processed foods, Dairy Etc

My daughter has done this since we brought her home and she’s only 2 weeks old. What helps is the new parent dance or just holding her and rubbing her back till she finally gets worn out from all her screaming. I’ve tried gripe water but it didn’t seem to work for her. Just gives her really big stinky poops that knock her out afterwards

Have you tried some gripe water or gas drops. Colicky babies tend to never stop crying. And since he’s only crying part of the time it is possibly gas or something.
