Do you let your baby watch educational TV/Videos

I was against it until my child became mobile around 5 months and it helps me keep my sanity at times (when I’m busy and he’s fussy)
My son also doesn’t sit there and watch videos he dances to mostly any song he hears which is adorable

I didn’t when my daughter was under 1 year old, I’d read it’s not great for their development & she was mostly interested in moving around & interacting w/ me & different toys, she’ll be 14 months old on April 10th & about a month ago I put on a Baby Einstein video (there are a bunch for free on Amazon Prime Video) just to see if I liked it & if she showed any interest, she loved it & I found the music soothing so we had a nice 30 minutes of talking about what was happening on the screen & dancing to the music, now a couple of times a week I put on Classic Sesame Street & she & I watch together, I sing along w/ the songs & she dances, 
I think tv can be a problem if you’re parking your kid in front of it for hours but if it’s only occasionally for short periods of time & you’re sometimes watching it w/ them then I think it can be just another tool for us to use w/ our kiddos

my neice loves watching the history and travel channel with me lol, she is 4 and wants to go to fairy chimneys in capadocia turkey lol

Nope. Babies and toddlers don’t need tv and there’s nothing “educational” about it either.
