I’m going to a OB because after being a labor and delivery nurse I’ve seen the most low risk deliveries go terribly wrong. So if my baby decides to act up and other interventions don’t help, knowing that I’m right by the OR and my baby will be out within 5 min makes the decision very easy!

My obgyn was the most serious and i felt comfortable the first day we met . My husband also feels very comfortable and hes straight forward with everything . All other options didnt cross my mind

I used a obgyn because I have no idea what a midwife does and if insurance covers it!

I’m going to a birthing centre next to the hospital, I give birth with a team of 2-3 midwives who stay with me, and if anything goes wrong I can be to the hospital in 2 minutes. It was a tough decision because I worry about something going wrong, but the prenatal care I’m getting with a midwife is far and above what I’ve been getting with my OB.

A gynecologist for ultrasounds and check ups and I meet my midwife for check ups and talks too because she delivers with me in a birthing center. And I got another private midwife for my aftercare at home.

I had midwives my whole pregnancy but my son ended up being delivered by an OB in an emergency C-Section.

I have an ob and a midwife. I love my midwife and like ok forward to seeing her, I always leave appointments feeling like I know more. After ob appointments I just feel like Ive been poked at and talked at.
