UTI at 11 weeks
My story of relief today...
My body doesn’t let my know about UTI’s normally and I will have a pretty bad UTI and hardly notice (no sharp or burning pain). I told my OB that I was concerned about getting one and not noticing. He mentioned that damaged will start when you feel the UTI in your kidneys and you will have cramping and a fever.
Fast forward to this morning when I woke up and my right kidney hurt (no fever or cramping) My heart sank, I immediately made an appointment at my general practitioner since my OB only meets patients on certain days.
I took the urine analysis and it came back positive. I let them know of my concern about the baby since I wasn’t sure how long I have had it. They double checked the heartbeat and baby has a strong heartbeat of 170. Phew, now to start the antibiotics and hope if it happens again I will catch it sooner.
