Why not 100%🤔

Can anyone tell me why nexplanon is not 100% effective? I know it tricks your body into thinking its pregnant but how would it allow you to get pregnant when it thinks you already are🤔 i want to try sex without condoms but I’m afraid of getting pregnant

no birth control is 100% effective.  only thing that is 100% effective is no sex.

Nothing is 100% because there are those who do get pregnant on birth control and if they said it was 100% the companies would be wide open for lawsuits of false advertisement

For the company's legal protection they can't say 100% and they don't want to get sued if you get pregnant.

It's 99% effective. And I REALLY don't think it tricks your body into thinking you're pregnant.
My experience: I have had 2 back to back implants for a total of 5 years and I haven't gotten pregnant, I have sex regularly.

The only form of birth control that is 100% effective is abstinence unless you're the Virgin Mary. Literally everything out there has a slight chance of missing the mark and you becoming pregnant.

My thoughts on this are that it does “trick” your body into thinking that it’s already pregnant. However even though you are tricking the body, in reality, you still aren’t ACTUALLY pregnant. Which can cause that small % chance of being able to conceive. xoxo

because of user error. ppl have sex within the first 7 days before it's effective or they have sex when they are on medications that make it less effective, or it is inserted too deep or too shallow in the arm so the med doesn't get absorbed by your body correctly
