On Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend of 3 years and I had our first sleep over. It went kinda bad. He has a twin bed that us 18 year olds had to share (spooning), I was completely nervous and felt like I was going to throw up, and we didnt get a lot of sleep because I kept moving around to get comfortable. All in all, he hasn’t invited me to sleep over ever since (claiming it’s always bad timing, and doesnt want to upset my parents) and he even admitted he wasn’t ready, just trying to make me happy because he thought I was expecting to stay over, which I wasnt! (He didn’t tell me I was spending the night, he just up and asked his parents last minuet). I feel like that entire sleep over was some huge mistake, even if he claims he loved every second of it. It’s been almost 2 months... He keeps saying he wants to, but never acts on his words. I’ve been staying at his house till 12am, and he still goes “after this movie, I’ll take you home.” Even his parents are annoyed I’m not staying over!!!!
