late period yet period symptoms

I've had my period symptoms since it should have started I had a small amount of blood come out after sex Like not even enough for a pad after one wipe it was gone. the past two or three monthsy period has been crazy only 2 day periods and just being off. I've always had short periods of 5 days but never like this I went into my OB and they said it was fine but im really concerned.
