Announcing pregnancy before ultrasound?

I am debating if I should announce my pregnancy with baby number 3 this Saturday. I won’t have an ultrasound done till second week of April unless I ask my doctor to send me for one earlier. But I can’t hide my bump for too long because I am already showing and looking pregnant.

With my first we wanted to make sure baby had a heartbeat and was growing. We regret announcing before 12 week scan though because we had serious complications and lost him so this time we told close family and a few friends but once we got the 12 week scan and everything was normal and she was healthy we announced to everyone.

You can do whatever you wish. Just make sure you're okay with telling people bad news too, if God forbid something happens (and I hope it doesn't!). If you are okay with sharing both good and bad news, then announce away! Congratulations and I hope everything goes perfectly.
