Nosebleeds?

Is it normal to have nosebleeds when pregnant? My doctor has me take baby aspirin daily and I think that may have something to do with it. I’ve already had two today. The last one dripped all over my shirt and made such a huge mess. I do have a humidifier in my room because I used to have them when I was younger and that always helped. It just been a very long time since I had one.

Ask for a platelet count (done through a blood draw). I was having nose bleeds and some random bruising. Didn’t think much of either but they ordered the CBC. Turns out my platelets are dangerously low (my extreme levels are rare). I was transferred to the high risk ward of a hospital an hour away and given two transfusions in two days. We’re about to spend our third night here. Everything in my pregnancy up until this point has been low risk and smooth. 
Even if something seems normal, mention it to your care provider.

Ugh, my nose bleeds all the time! Any time I blow my nose, there is blood. It’s aggravating.

i get them allll the timeeeee during this pregnancy. it's because you have like double the blood volume or something. My Dr said it's normal. 😩👍😄🤰

I’ve had them all my life but since I’m pregnant it’s 10 times worse! So frustrating and annoying. It’s because my nose is dry due to allergy season. The things that help me are steamy baths, nasal rinses with distilled water, using a humidifier and air purifier, eating clean, putting coconut oil in my nose... and even with all that my nose will bleed pretty much every single day 😭😭 also remember that during pregnancy you’ve got increased blood flow to your face/nose so try not to hit it or blow t too hard!
