Is this normal?

I am 36+3 today and yesterday had an appointment with my ob. I was checked for dilation and found out I was 1-1.5 cm dilated but my cervix was still kinda hard and long. Today I went to the bathroom twice and saw blood and a her small clot looking spot on the toilet paper. Should I be concerned or is all of this happening from me being checked?

When my doctor checked me for dilation she said that I may spot after. She said to not be concerned but if it’s more than spotting to call them so as long as you’re only having spotting you should be alright. If you’re still concerned though you can always call your doctor and see what they have to say!

The pink is not really very concerning but that dark red blood may be.. 
I would call and talk to your OB or call labor and delivery!
