someone PLEASE help me!!! I want to convince my mom that I need to go on birth control. my periods are SO BAD and my skin is terrible and I really think birth control would help. it’s not like I’m sexually active, I just want to feel better. someone PLEASE give me advice on how to approach my mom with this and prevent her from thinking that I’m sexually active.

edit: my mom had a VERY heavy period (she had to sit in towels) when she was young (starting in the 70s) and I feel like she will be very judgemental for me asking of this.
