Returning to work post partum depression??

Hi Ladies! 
I have a 5.5 month old little bundle of gorgeousness and am 2 weeks from returning to work..... I'm sure it's normal to be anxious and sad about leaving her with a day care centre but I really feel like I'm not dealing with it at all and the tiniest things set me off so I'm just wondering if anyone else has any experience with the 'fifth trimester'? How you dealt with it? Any
Coping strategies you could suggest?

I went back a month after birth, do it little by little the week before you return. Monday, wake up get yourself together and take the baby to daycare for just a few hours. You can go home and cry. Tuesday drop off for an hour longer, Wednesday add another hour and so on. By the time the next Monday rolls around you will be somewhat prepared AND it helps you learn what to pack for daycare 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was pretty upset the first few weeks back to work, but it does get easier. I like my job and so it’s been good to be back doing work I enjoy, but I still miss my little one while I’m there. You can do it!

I had to go back full time 2 days after my baby turned 2 months old. It's heartbreaking. You are so lucky to get almost half a year home with her!

I cried every day a week prior. I also went in the day before and cried then. 
As bad as it is, it was like ripping a bandaid  when the actual day came. I said I love you goodbye rather quick and left. I didn't want to draw it out. 
I also have amazing coworkers. They brought me coffee and left me little notes around school and classroom. Everyone knew how upset I was and they did everything they could to help me. 
Now I get through the days by thinking about seeing my baby girl's face when I get off of work  
I'm also a different employee for  the time being. I used to work from 7-4. Now I show up by 8 and leave at 320  It's so hard to cram all my work it but its worth it to have more time with baby girl.

I cried everyday the last couple weeks before going back to work. I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle leaving her at daycare. I've been back to work a month now and it still sucks but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. some days are harder then others and I still cry and miss her when I'm having a bad day.  I wish I had some advice but I'm still trying to find it today. the only thing that has helped is pictures, videos to lool at during work  and cherishing my time after work with her. I also tell myself that I'm doing it for her so that she can have an awesome life! Also daycare has been great for her! you can do it, it seems like u can't now but it's easier then u may be thinking it is right now.

Our daycare setup had a one-week transition period (first day I brought her there but just chatted with the caretaker for 45 minutes and brought her back home, second day stayed longer and we fed her together, third day left her but just for an hour, etc. working up to a full day), so if you can do that it helps everyone adjust and gradually figure out a weekday routine.
I love my baby but even the most exhausting workdays are nowhere near as exhausting as taking care of a baby who doesn't want to nap ;) so for me going back to work has been a huge relief physically. Not sure it'll be the same for you but I was also glad to go back to talking to grown-ups after months of spending the whole day one-on-one with a baby - it feels more balanced mentally. But I do wish I could be the main person taking care of her, as there's no way she's getting as much individual attention now as she did when I was watching her. Good luck. I'm sure daycare will have its advantages.

I returned PT after 12 weeks. I looked forward to going back to work and I have a sitter that I’ve known for a while so it made it a really easy transition for us.
