Has anyone gotten pregnant with a PCOS diet?

Amber

TTC x2 years with a failed IVF in December. Still thousands in debt from the failed one and don't know when or if we will ever be able to do IVF again 😔. So I bought the book "it starts with the egg" and have been implementing a lot of the guidelines such as getting rid of BPA and phthalates, as well as dietary changes. I know it takes 90 days to truly affect your egg health, but I've been on this grueling diet for more than 60 days and have to admit I'm becoming discouraged.

The diet is gluten free (my husband has celiac disease so our home is GF), dairy free, low carb (mainly cut out all of the bad carbs), low sugar (natural sugar from berries mainly), no processed foods, as much organic as I can afford, and cut way back on caffeine a year ago. I'm taking metformin, myo-inositol, DCI, prenatal vitamin, cod liver oil, vitamin D, CoQ10, and B12 supplements.

My acne is still present, but I guess not as bad as it was before. The unwanted hair growth is still a thing... but I'm mainly concerned about getting pregnant. This is a very difficult diet to maintain (I work long hours, and this diet requires constant cooking and dishes), and I miss sugar and carbs and dairy so much!

Also forgot to mention I cut out alcohol over a year ago too! My question is, has anyone had success and gotten pregnant with this diet? My follicles have a history of not growing and not ovulating, and my eggs were too hard for my husband's sperm to penetrate (they believe due to chronic high levels of LH) during the IVF. I will definitely stick to this diet if it will work, but have to admit I'm becoming discouraged. Sorry for the long post!
