Help please!

I suspected I was approaching O. My cervix has been rising and softening and CM had been thinning. I woke up this morning and had medium/heavy red spotting. I’m also having mild cramps but not on one side like normal ovulation cramps. My cramps are centralized. I did check my cervix and it is still high and even softer than yesterday. What is happening??
