Hi all, so I’m 7 weeks pregnant today. We had a miscarriage last December and got pregnant fairly quickly again. We were supposed to go visit some of my family this weekend and I was gonna see my two nieces 7 and 12 who I haven’t seen since xmas 2016, and literally while we are driving (it’s a 9 hour drive but thank god we only had just left and were only an hour in!) my brother texts me his kids are sick that one is getting over the flu and had fever this morning and other has a stomach virus. I canceled the trip and am not going. Do u think I made right choice?? Too paranoid, I didn’t get flu shot this year and I’ve heard flu is very bad for pregnant women. And based on what happened last decemevrI’m trying to be very careful. Haventtold any family yet I’m pregnant so I just told my brother I can’t afford to get sick right now. I’m upset Bc I really wanted to see them. Did I make the right choice??? My nieces are upset too. :-(
