So I have been dating my boyfriend for 3 years. During the school year we are long distance but see each other one weekend out of every month and then also during the summer (so it’s not bad). Well out fo nowhere he decided he wants to be a u.s Marshall where they get stationed all over the states and other countries. I knew he always wanted to be a cop but out of nowhere wanting to be stationed was shocking to me since I have mentioned that he should consider the military to help him get to where he wants and he always turned that down. It’s nothing definite but I feel like if he had a plan to apply places that could station him anywhere (he applies in fall) maybe he should give me a heads up??? I’m still in college for another 3 years so I can’t move to be with and also want to go to where I get a good job. I would never tell him no to his dreams I just feel like he totally didn’t tell me plans/ideas.
