Constantly feel like a pill is stuck in my throat!

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I’m battling a super annoying problem. I feel like there is ALWAYS a pill stuck in my throat. I’ve been taking promethazine every six hours for nausea and every time I take it I eat before taking the pill, chug water with the pill, and then eat more to really push it down and it STILL feels like it gets stuck. I don’t think it’s actually stuck there, just the sensation that it’s stuck. It’s a constant problem I’m having and I can’t find any relief from it. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can make it go away? I’m desperate.
