Mother’s Day...?

Any FTM gonna celebrate Mother’s Day this year? My baby may not be born yet but I feel like a mother more and more every day. I just didn’t know if it would be weird to celebrate or post anything in social media if my baby isnt physically here yet. What do y’all think??

If you want to celebrate go for it. Some do and some don’t. It’s a personal preference. Unfortunately no matter what you choose someone will say something, so just do what makes you happy.

I did and many people I know have. You are already a mother even though the child is still inside you, you’ve already made lifestyle changes, changed what you expose yourself to, and how you think about things. You are a mom. Celebrate away.

I did with my first, personally as soon as you become pregnant you are a mother because that’s when you start taking care of baby. You may not need to change diapers yet but you need to go to doctors, eat healthy, take vitamins and etc to make sure baby is growing and healthy. So from my point of view you are taking care of the baby, so you are a mother. But it’s definitely a personal choice.

i was pretty early on with my first on mothers day. i didnt really make a point to celebrate but my parents and in laws and husband all wished me a happy mothers day anyways and they all got me a little something. i think either way someone will acknowledge your motherhood, so i dont see why you shouldnt!

I’m not going to celebrate it yet, but my birthday is also May 13. So I still get spoiled 😂

Personally wouldn’t celebrate it as I wouldn’t feel comfortable but if you do then go for it!
