Sex in the first trimester??

I’m 5 weeks today and omg IM HORNY, but unsure if it’s ok for me to have sex or not. This is my first pregnancy, and I have no exciting medical history. My first appointment with my OB isn’t for another 3 long weeks 😩 everything I’ve read says “your doctor will tell you what’s safe blah blah blah...” idk if I can wait another 3 weeks to have sex with my hubby 😭😭

Any experienced moms or medical professionals out there have some advice??
