just started the pill

I just started taking birth control (Sprintec) and I’m experiencing major migraines. I’ve been taking it for 6 days so far and been told by some people to keep taking it and the migraines will go away after 2 weeks. I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? and if I should keep taking it and see if it changes or try a different pill?
