Just wondering how everyone goes when their partner works away?

My husband and I tied the knot 12 weeks ago now, moved to a new town and both changed careers.

We live in a tiny town in the north west of Australia.

My husband works away for 2 and a half weeks with 4 - 6 days home in between.

I would be lying if I said I was coping but I feel so selfish saying anything to him since he is away. He knows I’m finding it hard and has admitted himself that he’s not sure we have made the right decision.

We have no family here and it’s such a small town that we haven’t really made any friends yet. I just feel so alone. Moreover trying to start a family is going to be a nightmare as we already are facing issues there and my new job is not what I was expecting at all. I just feel like we have hit a brick wall.

I’m not sure where to turn or what to do. I miss him so much when he is away.
